Frequently asked questions
How long does an audit take?
Most WCAG 2.2 AA audits are delivered in 2–3 weeks from kickoff. Larger sites or those with custom web applications may take up to 4 weeks. You get a clear delivery schedule at the start of the engagement.
What if my development team has to implement the fixes?
That is the most common scenario. Our audit report is written specifically for developer handoff — each finding includes the affected element, the relevant WCAG success criterion, severity, and implementation guidance. Your team can act on it the week it lands.
Do you work with small businesses or just enterprises?
We work across the full range. Our smallest audits are for small nonprofits and startups; our largest are for multi-application enterprise platforms. Pricing is scoped to the actual work, not to company size.
What is included in a WCAG 2.2 AA audit?
Automated scanning, manual keyboard navigation testing, screen reader compatibility testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), color contrast analysis, a detailed finding report with severity levels, and a prioritized remediation roadmap.
Can I see sample deliverables before hiring?
Yes. Named references and sample deliverables — including a redacted audit report and remediation scope example — are available on request. Mention this when you reach out.
How does billing work?
Most projects are scoped and quoted as a fixed-fee engagement before work begins. Monitoring retainers are month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. We do not bill hourly for audit or remediation work.
Is our conversation confidential?
Yes. All intake conversations, site details shared during scoping, and discovery calls are kept strictly confidential. We can execute an NDA before any technical review if your procurement process requires it.
What if new issues appear after remediation?
Every remediation engagement includes post-remediation verification testing to confirm fixes hold before we close an issue. If a fix regresses in a later deployment, that is exactly what our compliance monitoring service catches.
Can you support regulated-industry or government procurement?
Yes. We work with healthcare organizations (and can execute a BAA when required), government contractors, and organizations with formal procurement processes. An NDA is available before any technical review. A sample Statement of Work and sample deliverables are available on request, along with named references from comparable engagements.
